What is the weather like in the Dolomites in spring?

Everybody keeps asking about what to expect from spring weather in the Dolomites

I hear this question bumping around every Facebook group all over again: “what is the weather like in the Dolomites in spring? ” Some may have warned you spring months like April and May are really not the best time to visit the Dolomites, is this true? I live here, so let me tell you who are Dolomites for during spring.

Short story you might get from this Reel? Spring can look like anything: I’ve seen huge snowfalls in May, made one of my kids walk half naked during a hike mid April after he peed the only clothes we had with us and everything in between.

So who’s this weather uncertainty in the spring – Dolomites for?

Dolomites experts, wanting to experience all of it,
lovers of the quiteness, “cable is closed? Even better!”
adventurers, ready to change plans embracing whatever nature might throw
experienced hikers, comfortable in any terrain

In my, very personal opinion and as a local as well, it’s one of the best time to be around. My main complaint, being a coeliac too, is that most restaurants might be closed around April and May. This means I really need to be intentional when planning something (and this might result in forgetting about spare clothing for the kids, too, lol). Other than that I’m happy with bright sunny days as well as spring snowfalls in my beloved Dolomites. The best is when I have clients that actually roll with it as much as I do, especially when we get winter and spring weather simultaneously :)

Ready to discover the Dolomites this spring whatever the weather?

If you want to have a forever keepsake of this precious time, I’m heeeere for it!
